French alto Lucile Richardot graduated in 2008 from the Maîtrise de Notre-Dame de Paris and in 2011 from the CRR de Paris in Early Music. She has studied under many distinguished artists such as Margreet Hoenig, Noëlle Barker, Paul Esswood, Howard Crook, Jan van Elsacker, Martin Isepp, François Le Roux, Monique Zanetti, Jill Feldman, and others. Before turning to music full-time, she worked as a journalist. In 2012 she founded her own
ensemble Tictactus, in which she performs accompanied by two lutenists. She performs both early music and contemporary repertoire on stage and in concert. Her recent recordings include Monteverdi’s opera Il ritorno d’Ulisse in patria (John Eliot Gardiner, 2018), Perpetual Night: Seventeenth-century Airs and Songs (Sébastien Daucé, 2018), Bach’s St. Matthew Passion (Raphaël Pichon, 2022), and Vivaldi: The Great Venetian Mass (Paul Agnew, 2022). With Collegium 1704 under the direction of Václav Luks, she appeared in a production of Vivaldi’s Arsilda as Lisea (2017) and also on the CD J. D. Zelenka: Missa Divi Xaverii (2015).
