Ihor Mostovoi

Ihor Mostovoi, Ukrainian Baritone from Mariupol. After his early musical studies in Ukraine, continued his education at Schulich School of Music, McGill University of Montréal and École Normale de Musique «Alfred Cortot» de Paris.

He has appeared on the stages of Opera National de Paris, Théâtre du Châtelet de Paris, Opéra National du Rhin, Opera de Lyon, Opéra de Bordeaux, Lincoln Center (New York), The Kimmel Center (Philadelphia) as well as, other reputable venues in Europe, Americas and Asia.

Ihor is a member of Young Artist Program of Opera National de Paris where he appeared in the roles of Le Fauteuil in Ravel’s “L’enfant et les Sortiléges” (Opera Garnier) and Frank Maurrant in Weill’s “Street Scene”, as well as, his recital of Ukrainian music at the Salle Bourgie in Montréal, a concert dedicated to Ukraine with Orchestre Classique de Montréal and a title role in Bartok’s “Bluebeard’s Castle” with the Festival Lyrique en Mer. Upcoming engagements include Leporello in Mozart’s “Don Giovanni” with Singapore’s The Opera People Company and multiple concerts with Opera de Paris Young Artists’ Program, notably Opera Gala at Palais Garnier and exchange program with Metropolitan Opera Lindemann Program in New York.

Ihor won the First Prize of male voices at the Marmande International Singing Competition (France, 2021). His other recent awards are Wagner Circle’s Scholarship (Bayreuth, 2019), The Foundation of France Scholarship (2022) and Generation Opera finalist (Paris, 2022), Finalist of the international Sumi Jo Competition (France, 2024) and Petit Palais and Concert d’Oppède-le-Vieux prizes winner at the Gordes song competition (France, 2024).
