Jan Krejča plays the theorba, baroque guitar and renessaince lute. He most often works with such ensembles as Collegium 1704, Collegium Marianum, Ensemble Inégal, Capella Cracoviensis, Capella Anna, Les Traversee Baroque and soloists Jana Semerádová, Hana Blažíková, Tomáš Král, Judith Pacquier, Magdalena Kožená and others. He regularly performs at numerous festivals, among them the Prague Spring, Prague Autumn, Concentus Moraviae, Saint Wenceslas Festivities and more. Krejča has contributed to dozens of CDs and has also produced his own solo album of virtuoso Italian music for the theorbo Intavolatura di Tiorba. He is the teacher of historical plucked string instruments at the Academy of Ancient Music at Masaryk university in Brno, CZ.
