Manuel Granatiero

After studying at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels with B. Kuijken and M. Hantai he began playing with some important early music ensembles both as soloist and as principal flutist, such as Gli Incogniti, Les Talens Lyriques, Cappella Cracoviensis, just to name a few.
He founded the ensemble Accademia Ottoboni, which won the Diapason d’Or as best recording of the year in 2015 for a CD dedicated to Boccherini’s chamber music, and just released a CD of flute sonatas by C.P.E.Bach, published by Arcana.
He teaches historical flutes in the conservatories of Cesena and Brescia and is regularly invited to teach at some important international masterclasses (Urbino, Paesaggi Musicali Toscani).
