Markéta Čepická started her violin studies at age of four. After her graduation at gymnasium she continued at Academy of Performing Arts in Prague in class of Prof. Ivan Štraus. Between years 2014/2015 she studied with Prof. Peter Schuhmayer at Univesität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Wien. She graduated at Academy in Prague with Violin concerto by Ondřej Kukal (2017).
Markéta plays as soloist with many czech orchestras ( Janacek philharmonic orchestra, Janacek chamber orchestra, Barocco sempre giovane, The Czech Chamber Philharmony Orchestra Pardubice). In 2017 performed Dvořák´s Violin concerto in Rudolfinum with World civic orchestra.
She is also chamber musician. In 2014 gained together with Judita Škodová ( violoncello ) and Kateřina Ochmanová ( piano ) second prize and special prize of jury for performing composition of Bohuslav Martinů at Bohuslav Martinů competition in the category piano trio. Nowadays she is member of Barocco sempre giovane.
From August 2018 Markéta is concertmaster od The Czech Chamber Philharmony Orchestra Pardubice.
