Tereza Zimková

After graduating from singing at the Bratislava Conservatory, he continued his studies in 1997 at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava and at JAMU in Brno. He graduated in 2003 at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague under the guidance of the world personality of vocal art Sergei Kopčák.

Soprano Tereza Zimková is a graduate of the Bratislava Conservatory (Mgr. Mária Repková) and the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno (Doc. Marta Beňačková). He regularly participates in singing courses, for example with Kateřina Beranová, Ingeborg Danz, Margreet Honig, Kateřina Kněžíková and Adam Plachetka. As a soloist and a member of the choir, she works with prestigious ensembles such as the Chor der Bamberger Symphoniker and the Chorüademie Lübeck, with which she has traveled many times abroad (Germany, Poland, Austria, Italy, Greece, France, South Korea, China, Hong Kong). She has also collaborated with Il Cuorre Barocco, Solamente Naturali, Ensemble Opera Diversa, Bamberger Symphoniker, Moravian Philharmonic Olomouc or Sinfonietta Cracovia and with conductors Helmuth Rilling, Rolf Beck, Gabriela Tardonová, Leoš Svárovský and others. In 2016, she sang a soprano solo at the premiere Chinese performance of Jan’s Passions by J. S. Bach on period instruments in Shanghai. Her repertoire is wide, from opera to song and chamber concerts, but she also enjoys interpreting early and sacred music.
