The Mozart Gala will offer a selection from various genres of Mozart’s work – from the festive overture to the opera La clemenza di Tito through the early Symphony No. 1 to the lyrical concert aria Bella mia fiamma… Resta, o cara. After the intermission, the late Clarinet Concerto in A major will be performed, one of the most important instrumental opuses of the composer’s peak period, full of delicacy, brightness and inner peace. The concert will conclude with the celebratory motet Exsultate, jubilate, shining with joy, virtuosity and spiritual strength. The program underlines the diversity and genius of Mozart’s legacy in its entirety.
