Virtuoso trio sonatas by Zelenka and Bach performed by true masters of period interpretation – this is what the concert will offer, which brings together star bassoonist Sergio Azzolini with the renowned international ensemble Capella da Camera Praga. Zelenka’s sonatas from the ZWV 181 cycle will be heard in all their complexity and expressiveness, alongside Bach’s Sinfonia No. 14 and Girolamo Kapsberger’s meditative passacaglia. The program is based on a deep knowledge of the Baroque style, purity of counterpoint and virtuoso dialogue between instruments.
