Elionor Martinez

Elionor Martinez Lara (Barcelona, 1996) studied her Bachelor at Liceu Conservatoire, with a scholarship granted by Ferrer-Salat Foundation, with Prof. Dolors Aldea. She won the Salvat Beca Bach 2016, given by Bach Zum Mitsingen Barcelona Foundation. She took part of Josep Palet Competition’s third edition in 2019 and was awarded four special prices.

As a soloist she has sung Händel’s Messiah, Bach’s Magnificat, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Mozart’s Great Mass in c minor and Requiem and Brahm’s Ein deutsches Requiem among others. She has played roles in opera producions such as Purcell’s Dido and Enees, Cimarosa’s Il Convito, Mozart’s Così fan tutte and Rossini’s La Cenerentola. She has sung with Bremer Philharmoniker conducted by Hermes Helfricht and with Bachcelona Consort conducted by Ton Koopmann. She has performed song recitals in the Swiss Foundation for Young Musicians and has been part of the Mizmorim Festival in Basel this year.

She sings regurlarly with La Capella Reial de Catalunya, conducted by Jordi Savall and Collegium Vocale Gent, conducted by Philippe Herreweghe.

She finished her Master studies last summer at the Hochschule für Musik Basel with Prof. Marcel Boone, being sponsored by Salvat Foundation.
